Hello. If you are reading this, I am no longer blogging on this blog. But, there are almost 250 posts, so feel free to look through them. Even though it won't be new music, it'll still be good music. So . . . bye.
*This is 12/23/13. I changed the polls slightly so that you can vote until 1/1/24. That's almost ten years from now. I at least wanted any people who happened to be visiting to be able to vote. I didn't extend it any longer because this blog will either get deleted or aliens will cause mass chaos by deleting the internet or murdering that huge satellite in space. Thought you might want to know that my friend has a blog, and we are very alike. http://www.electricperspectivemusic.blogspot.com/ Yeah. Oh well. Yeah. This blog is kind of . . . dead. I guess this is goodbye. Again. Because it's a second goodbye, it's awkwarder, so there's no way to wrap this up. But I'm not a writer or anything, and this is the internet, so I can cut myself off midsentence and add three little dots afterwards . . .

Now...I really wanted to talk about this music video because it's....um....not to be ignored. Please answer the following question.
How old are you?
A. Under 12 B. 12-16 C. 17-21 D. 53. No range. Just 53. I don't know why.
If the answer is A, leave. If the answer is D....just....what are you doing here. The reason I don't want people under 12 to read this, these topics are too deep and complex and will ruin your innocent mind. I'm sure you can understand the topics, I'm not underestimating you, I just don't think you're ready to know in great detail about these.
Okay. I'm guessing that didn't work. So hello 12-21 year olds. And possibly 11 and 22 year olds. Hey. The music video I wanted to talk about is A Little Piece of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold. First watch it, read the warning at the beginning, chose your fate:
So, it's not really a song I would normally feature and tell you "Oh yeah, listen to it, it's cool." I actually think the song is rather funny, a dark sense of humor. Let's dissect some of the lyrics to understand the general concept of the song.
"Must have stabbed her fifty times" (okay, I'm a sissy. I don't even want to curse on this blog, I can say crap and hell, but nothing worse.) "Ripped her heart out right before her eyes." Okay, so one main concept of the song is murder. Got it. Cool.
"Now an angry soul comes back from beyond the grave To repossess a body with which I'd misbehaved."
Okay. Necromancy. And...unholy marriage, I suppose.
"Eyes over easy, eat it, eat it, eat it."
Ah, yes. That would be the cannibalism part I hear so many people in the comments talking about.
"Do you take this man in death for the rest of your unnatural life?"
Oh, right. That's also unholy marriage and...necromancy? Zombies?
So this song is about murder, necromancy, unholy marriage, and cannibalism. Wonderful.
One main topic would be...hmm...death. Yeah. Death I guess can describe all of these words. I don't want to get this blog deleted, so I'll leave it at that.
I feel like 15 is a special number. It's not 14, and it's almost 16. Guilty Pleasures is almost old enough to drive, and is allowed to dye its hair. By the next segment it can get a job. It'll start in the fast food chains earning minimum wage to earn a sense of responsibility. Then it will go to college, get a degree, and earn a living. Maybe it'll marry Bands I used to like and have wonderful children. They'll be a beautiful family. Eventually Guilty Pleasures will die. I wonder who will go to its funeral. What. But to celebrate the wonderful future ahead of Guilty Pleasures, I thought we would do two this time. Now...I think I've nearly run out of Guilty Pleasures. I wanted to say A Little Piece of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold, but I feel like cannibalism, necrophilia, and murder isn't such an appealing topic that will attract people to my blog. If it does...well...here you go:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VurhzANQ_B0 Another thing I'm going to do is give you Guilty Pleasures I'm not very proud of. Guilty Pleasures is only 15 and she's already lost her dignity. It's...Lovekills by Her Bright Skies. Now, it's not my favorite song, nor has it ever been, it won't appear on my iPod, and it's not my favorite song by them. That would be Ghosts of the Attic. Now, I'm not going to explain why this is a song I'm not too proud of. Just watch it, you may understand. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp8A-A1EZAw Wait? What were we just talking about? Losing my dignity? Oh right. Let's resume. Now, this is an alright song, but....I'll explain later. It's Who I Am by Avion Roe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cgvYU13oPI Like I said, the song itself is pretty good. It's just the band itself. First of all, the lead singer seems to have a somewhat...awkward quality about him. I would love dancing lessons from him, just because...if you watched the video, you'll understand. Also, the band just goes freaking insane at the chorus. In the beginning, they're chill. They're like "Yeah. We're kind of a typical band. There's our drummer, not having too much fun. There's our guitarist, kind of concentrating on the notes. Our bass is chill. I'm the lead singer, I'm singing, you know." And then the chorus comes around and they're like "OH MY GOD THAT COFFEE I HAD EARLIER FINALLY KICKED IN WOAH GUYS THERE'S A CAMERA OOH I HAVE A MICROPHONE AND HAIR. I SHALL FLIP IT. OOH I CAN JUMP. THIS IS FUN GUYS, CHECK THIS OUT. DUDE, WE'RE A BAND! YAY!" And there you go.
