Undergroundmusicblog announcements

Hello. If you are reading this, I am no longer blogging on this blog. But, there are almost 250 posts, so feel free to look through them. Even though it won't be new music, it'll still be good music.
So . . . bye.

*This is 12/23/13. I changed the polls slightly so that you can vote until 1/1/24. That's almost ten years from now. I at least wanted any people who happened to be visiting to be able to vote. I didn't extend it any longer because this blog will either get deleted or aliens will cause mass chaos by deleting the internet or murdering that huge satellite in space.
Thought you might want to know that my friend has a blog, and we are very alike. http://www.electricperspectivemusic.blogspot.com/
Yeah.
Oh well. Yeah. This blog is kind of . . . dead.
I guess this is goodbye. Again. Because it's a second goodbye, it's awkwarder, so there's no way to wrap this up. But I'm not a writer or anything, and this is the internet, so I can cut myself off midsentence and add three little dots afterwards . . .

Guilty Pleasures #15

I feel like 15 is a special number. It's not 14, and it's almost 16. Guilty Pleasures is almost old enough to drive, and is allowed to dye its hair. By the next segment it can get a job. It'll start in the fast food chains earning minimum wage to earn a sense of responsibility. Then it will go to college, get a degree, and earn a living. Maybe it'll marry Bands I used to like and have wonderful children. They'll be a beautiful family. Eventually Guilty Pleasures will die. I wonder who will go to its funeral.
What.
But to celebrate the wonderful future ahead of Guilty Pleasures, I thought we would do two this time.
Now...I think I've nearly run out of Guilty Pleasures. I wanted to say A Little Piece of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold, but I feel like cannibalism, necrophilia, and murder isn't such an appealing topic that will attract people to my blog.
If it does...well...here you go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VurhzANQ_B0
Another thing I'm going to do is give you Guilty Pleasures I'm not very proud of.
Guilty Pleasures is only 15 and she's already lost her dignity.
It's...Lovekills by Her Bright Skies. Now, it's not my favorite song, nor has it ever been, it won't appear on my iPod, and it's not my favorite song by them. That would be Ghosts of the Attic.
Now, I'm not going to explain why this is a song I'm not too proud of. Just watch it, you may understand. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wp8A-A1EZAw
Wait? What were we just talking about? Losing my dignity? Oh right. Let's resume.
Now, this is an alright song, but....I'll explain later.
It's Who I Am by Avion Roe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cgvYU13oPI
Like I said, the song itself is pretty good. It's just the band itself.
First of all, the lead singer seems to have a somewhat...awkward quality about him. I would love dancing lessons from him, just because...if you watched the video, you'll understand.
Also, the band just goes freaking insane at the chorus. In the beginning, they're chill. They're like "Yeah. We're kind of a typical band. There's our drummer, not having too much fun. There's our guitarist, kind of concentrating on the notes. Our bass is chill. I'm the lead singer, I'm singing, you know." And then the chorus comes around and they're like "OH MY GOD THAT COFFEE I HAD EARLIER FINALLY KICKED IN WOAH GUYS THERE'S A CAMERA OOH I HAVE A MICROPHONE AND HAIR. I SHALL FLIP IT. OOH I CAN JUMP. THIS IS FUN GUYS, CHECK THIS OUT. DUDE, WE'RE A BAND! YAY!"
And there you go.

Youtube Search #3

My parents have people downstairs and I don't want to talk with them so I'm hiding in a closet to avoid conversation.
Believe it or not, I'm a teenager. And I'm about as social as a rotting corpse. I scare people when I talk, and nobody talks to me unless they're crazy.
So let's just do a youtube search.
Oh no...I have to go talk to people. Goodbye.

Her Bright Skies-Ghosts of the Attic

You might have guessed, but I've been searching through a part of youtube that is just filled with awesome music.
You might have also guessed that I've been living under a rock.
I literally just found this band, I've heard of them before but never any of their music. It's Ghosts of the Attic by Her Bright Skies. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q-LxMq_b8E
If you haven't heard it before, you have to. You must. I really like this song, but I'm so sad I'll never be able to experience hearing it for the first time again. It's so amazing. Just...listen to it. They kind of remind me of Ghost Town, but only in this song.
