I'm bored.
But I'm enjoying being bored.
In fact, in exactly 1 week, I will go through absolute chaos. I will also have no internet connection, so I'll try to get in lots of posts this week so that you have something to read while I'm gone.
Let's begin the search of youtube.
Okay. I have found a video. It's Aria-Escaping the Transience: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biCI4w8RIxM It's an alright song.
The next song is Fools For Rowan. It's called Killed A Man Today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RI38ftjcYHg It has a nice beginning...
Blink 182 fans might like this. It's Of The Fact-Stuck Beneath The Moon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bw7hN8Fd2D4
I actually kind of like the next song. It's Drop The Pilot-The Beautiful Secret. I don't like the video...just because it's not entirely PG. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-meh3iE84A
Then I went through a really awkward metal section of youtube where the lead singers only sang opera. Amy Lee can pull off the way she sings, but those people couldn't. The lead singer of Ravenscry came close, though.
The last song is Voices by Crown The Empire, which wasn't the biggest improvement: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fY-GKXZfg9w
I'm done.
Hope you liked it.
Undergroundmusicblog announcements
Hello. If you are reading this, I am no longer blogging on this blog. But, there are almost 250 posts, so feel free to look through them. Even though it won't be new music, it'll still be good music.
So . . . bye.
*This is 12/23/13. I changed the polls slightly so that you can vote until 1/1/24. That's almost ten years from now. I at least wanted any people who happened to be visiting to be able to vote. I didn't extend it any longer because this blog will either get deleted or aliens will cause mass chaos by deleting the internet or murdering that huge satellite in space.
Thought you might want to know that my friend has a blog, and we are very alike. http://www.electricperspectivemusic.blogspot.com/
Yeah.
Oh well. Yeah. This blog is kind of . . . dead.
I guess this is goodbye. Again. Because it's a second goodbye, it's awkwarder, so there's no way to wrap this up. But I'm not a writer or anything, and this is the internet, so I can cut myself off midsentence and add three little dots afterwards . . .

A's, #5
Okay. So you like metal. Cool.
I listen to quite a bit of metal, but I've showed most of it to you, and I wanted to find a new band.
The band I'm going to show you is As I Lay Dying. If that doesn't sound like a metal band, I don't know what does.
The first song is The Sound of Truth. It has the.....zombies?
The second song is Nothing Left. It has the willwy pwitty bwuilding.
The last song is Confined. It has the angry looking guy.
I hope that you found a song you like. If not, you can retry here: http://undergroundmusicblog.blogspot.com/2013/11/200th-post.html

B's, #5
So you listen to metal and you do like softer music. I'm going to show you a band you may have mixed feelings about. They're mainly acoustic, but this one guy in the band can scream, and the lead singer raps at some parts of the song, and....you'll see.
It's Midnight Nation.
The first song is My Body Is a Jar. It has the guy making a weird face. It looks like he's saying "Oooh.....dat's so pwitty :)"
The next song is A Liar Was My Lover. It's a lyric video...so it has lyrics.
The last song is This Monster's Not a Metaphor. It's just a photo of the band with some lyrics on it.
So...if you would like to try to find another band, you can go here: http://undergroundmusicblog.blogspot.com/2013/11/200th-post.html

C's, #5
You can't make up your mind. That's fine.
I'll just show you a random band. I just found this band and thought they were cool. They're called The Paper Melody, and I would suggest listening to them if you like Midnight Nation.
The first song is called Nightmare Academy. It's the one with the girl laying on the ground. This is the first new song I've heard while doing this that I really like. I'm glad I found them.
The next song is Incandescent. It has the girl walking...in a room...
The last song is Then, the Sky Opened Up and Swallowed Them Whole. It's the video that is just all gray.
So....I hope that you found a song you like. If not, you can always retry here: http://undergroundmusicblog.blogspot.com/2013/11/200th-post.html

Favorite Songs #5
This will possibly be the most detailed post I have ever made. It might be very long....so grab some popcorn and you'll soon understand why I love this song.
I have talked about this song before, and every single time I listen to it, I feel very happy and press repeat about four times until my cat walks in front of the computer screen and tells me to stop.
I am going to completely dissect this song and show you why it's awesome....so watch out. Let's list some reasons why it is the best song in the entire universe and see how many reasons we end up with.
*Also, play the video below while you read the reasons. I added the video to make it convenient.

*Also, play the video below while you read the reasons. I added the video to make it convenient.
- Good lyrics.
- Lyrics that make you think.
- The lead singer's voice.
- The rhythm.
- The chord progressions on the guitars.
- The soft drum beat at the beginning of the song.
- Up until 0:12, the way you can just feel something awesome about to come.
- The scream that fades away, it's around 0:13
- The way the instruments come together perfectly, starting at 0:14
- 0:24, when the singing begins and the guitars die down just a little bit
- At 0:25, you can start to hear the chord progressions changing. It accompanies the singing in a perfect way. It doesn't match the singing, but it's just....perfect.
- 0:35....the singing is just perfect
- At about 0:38 you can hear a high pitched sound that adds to the intensity of the song.
- At 0:40, you can hear a weird noise in the background which adds to the awesomeness.
- The verse blends smoothly into the chorus, which starts at 0:46.
- The singing during the chorus is perfect.
- 1:08....just perfection
- The verse starts up smoothly again.
- 1:33...the chorus just comes in at the perfect time.
- 1:54, let's just say that I think the transitions are perfect. In this song, every word and note blends smoothly into the next. It doesn't sound forced.
- The little scream at 2:06.
- The guitar solo that starts at 2:14 and all of the music leading up to the that.
- 2:25
- All of the oohs
- The entire guitar solo
- The singing at 2:45
- The singing at 2:52
- 3:03, another perfect transition
- 3:15
- The end of the song, which is my least favorite part, because the song ends, but I feel like they closed it nicely.

My Reaction to The Organ Beats
I said that I would talk about them sooner or later, so I decided to incorporate it with a segment.
I'm very scared about listening to them, because the lead singer was in another band called Damone that I really liked, and I'm worried she'll let me down.
The Organ Beats is just not a promising band name.
The first song is Happy Birthday/Come on Home: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmE1ZzROtjM
It's alright. I'm not as let down. I think she fit better in with Damone.
The next song is Living Without You: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_kHQ-s_2eY
This one let me down. You almost can't even hear her sing. I don't really like it.
Now for Stay The Night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l0TEKBpiziM
You can't even really hear her in this one. Her voice had more power in Damone. The songs were more epic. Ugh...I'm done.
I mean, I'm glad she's still making music, but I just don't think this kind of band is right for her.
I'm let down.

10 signs you've been living under a rock #5
Green Day.
You've probably heard about them at one point or another. I mean, they've been a band for over 20 years and have released really popular songs that used to be on the radio a lot.
Green Day is special to me, because they were the one band I was able to grow up listening to. My mom would always have some crappy pop song on the radio, so it was nice to be able to listen to 21 guns after an hour of hearing Britney Spears and Taylor Swift whine into a microphone.
Green Day has released about 15 albums, well, that's at least how many I have on my iPod.
Some songs you might know by them:
21 Guns: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r00ikilDxW4
Wake me Up When September Ends: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NU9JoFKlaZ0
Boulevard of Broken Dreams: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Soa3gO7tL-c
Holiday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1OqtIqzScI
Know Your Enemy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IclmVdWNbI
American Idiot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ee_uujKuJMI
Good Riddance (Time of your life) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnQ8N1KacJc
When I come Around: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8dh9gDzmz8
Basket Case: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUTGr5t3MoY
She: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnF0pkWD2Tc
I could list about ten more. So if for some reason you have in fact been living under a rock, go listen to Green Day. They are an amazing band and they've made a lot of music. And before I go, I just wanted to point out that these are some of my personal favorites, besides the ones I just listed.
Redundant: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ydpSVvXE9k
Longview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42BBdzzgPNM
21st Century Breakdown: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4ZKlT1EvCA
Hitchin' a Ride: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6jtGjiDwIQ
Misery: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeGs9O7C3IM
I could also list ten more, but that's a good number. So go listen to them, there's no reason you can't.

Music Videos #5
Now...I really wanted to talk about this music video because it's....um....not to be ignored.
Please answer the following question.
B. 12-16
C. 17-21
D. 53. No range. Just 53. I don't know why.
If the answer is A, leave. If the answer is D....just....what are you doing here.
The reason I don't want people under 12 to read this, these topics are too deep and complex and will ruin your innocent mind. I'm sure you can understand the topics, I'm not underestimating you, I just don't think you're ready to know in great detail about these.
Okay. I'm guessing that didn't work. So hello 12-21 year olds. And possibly 11 and 22 year olds. Hey.
The music video I wanted to talk about is A Little Piece of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold.
First watch it, read the warning at the beginning, chose your fate:
So, it's not really a song I would normally feature and tell you "Oh yeah, listen to it, it's cool." I actually think the song is rather funny, a dark sense of humor. Let's dissect some of the lyrics to understand the general concept of the song.
"Must have stabbed her fifty times" (okay, I'm a sissy. I don't even want to curse on this blog, I can say crap and hell, but nothing worse.)
"Ripped her heart out right before her eyes."
Okay, so one main concept of the song is murder. Got it. Cool.
"Now an angry soul comes back from beyond the grave
To repossess a body with which I'd misbehaved."
Okay. Necromancy. And...unholy marriage, I suppose.
"Eyes over easy, eat it, eat it, eat it."
Ah, yes. That would be the cannibalism part I hear so many people in the comments talking about.
"Do you take this man in death for the rest of your unnatural life?"
Oh, right. That's also unholy marriage and...necromancy? Zombies?
So this song is about murder, necromancy, unholy marriage, and cannibalism. Wonderful.
One main topic would be...hmm...death. Yeah. Death I guess can describe all of these words. I don't want to get this blog deleted, so I'll leave it at that.
Ummm...just wanted to share that with you. Bye.

Spotlight Song of the Week #5
It's The Kill (Bury Me) by Thirty Seconds to Mars. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yvGCAvOAfM
I listened to Do or Die which is a more recent song...what happened? It's not necessarily a bad song, but it's so different.
Well, that was the song of the week. Hope it was everything you were hoping for.

Spotlight Band of the Week #5
I think this the fifth one.
So, I just kind of wanted to get this one out of the way because I would have to mention them sooner or later despite the fact that they were a really popular band. I kind of don't want to mention them because they broke up, but oh well. It's My Chemical Romance.
Here's Famous Last Words, which you have probably heard before. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bbTtPL1jRs
They were a freaking awesome band, and I knew I'd have to talk about them sooner or later so that you guys don't think I live under a rock. I know, they weren't an underground band, but the point of these is just to show you guys some awesome bands.
Hopefully there's one person reading this who hasn't listened to them before.
I'm not going to say much more because most people reading this already know everything.

Guilty Pleasures #5
It's Vice by Evarose. Never heard of it? Wouldn't surprise me.
Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beNGqgTrUns
They're a pretty good band, but the singer has kind of a thick accent that I'm not the biggest fan of, but the more I listen to it, the more I like it.
