Undergroundmusicblog announcements

Hello. If you are reading this, I am no longer blogging on this blog. But, there are almost 250 posts, so feel free to look through them. Even though it won't be new music, it'll still be good music.
So . . . bye.

*This is 12/23/13. I changed the polls slightly so that you can vote until 1/1/24. That's almost ten years from now. I at least wanted any people who happened to be visiting to be able to vote. I didn't extend it any longer because this blog will either get deleted or aliens will cause mass chaos by deleting the internet or murdering that huge satellite in space.
Thought you might want to know that my friend has a blog, and we are very alike. http://www.electricperspectivemusic.blogspot.com/
Yeah.
Oh well. Yeah. This blog is kind of . . . dead.
I guess this is goodbye. Again. Because it's a second goodbye, it's awkwarder, so there's no way to wrap this up. But I'm not a writer or anything, and this is the internet, so I can cut myself off midsentence and add three little dots afterwards . . .

Bands I used to like #4

Welcome to another horrible walk down memory lane.
Oh, I'm sorry. Welcome to another Bands I used to like, but they're essentially the same thing.
It's Delta Delta! I'm breaking a rule, because I never did like them. But just like Away We Go!, I have their songs on my iPod. Also, the exclamation point at the end of the bands names is not because I'm enthusiastic about them. It's because they have an exclamation point at the end of their band names.
How about a nice history with Delta Delta!
Again, I'm not enthusiastic.
  1. I was on youtube and I found this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRwk64_MCD0 I didn't like it, but the lead singer's hair had so much promise!
  2. So I listened to this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWPjY0G-OvM It was getting there...again...the lead singer's hair told me to listen to another song.
  3. I listened to this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYZM-vnU4vs I didn't really like it. But look at the lead singer's hair. It had blue in it. That told me that they probably released at least one good song. I'm not sure why.
  4. I listened to this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oc7pNmLBaU Getting closer...just look at the lead singer's hair.
  5. The lead singer's hair told me to buy their song "Grandpa Built a Castle Cake." First of all, I didn't like the song. I liked the hair. And second, what the hell is with these song names?
So, that's the history. I never liked this band. They broke up, so I can say why
  • The lead singer didn't have a strong voice. However, she's in a new band called Midnight Nation, and she's improved a lot.
  • The lyrics were kind of...bland. But in the lead singer's new band Midnight Nation, the lyrics have way better rhymes.
  • The guitars, bass, and drums weren't good enough to distract from the lead singer's voice.
So...that's why I don't like Delta Delta! But the lead singer, Kelc, has a new band called Midnight Nation and I really like their music.

Spotlight Song of the Week #3

Well...here it is again.
So, this blog has only gotten about 100 views. I bet half of them are mine, and I bet the rest are just people who are so bored that they decided to kill 3 minutes by searching on google something very random which led them here.
....hi......
Unless, of course, you actually enjoy reading the content on this blog often...in which case...welcome back.
Today, I'm going to scroll through my iPod and pick whatever song I land on. Before I do this, I should tell you that I accidently bought some of this music and I went through a phase and if it lands on an Avril Lavigne song it most likely got transferred to my iPod accidently through no intentions of my own and this used to be my brother's iPod so there's a whole playlist of 90's music that I never heard and now that we have that out of the way...

Okay. The fates have decided.
Oh, this is okay. I don't listen to it very often, and I think the band broke up. It's Unsaid, Undone by Formulas.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI0pTrcI6D0
Now, there's some history to this song. Before Formulas became a band, there was a band called Delta Delta! As far as I know...
The difference is a lead singer and a guitarist I believe. Here is Delta Delta!'s version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRwk64_MCD0
I think they're pretty much the same lyrics.
The lead singer of Formulas has more powerful vocals, so I prefer it.
The lead singer of Delta Delta! got a new band called Midnight Nation. It fits her voice better, she's gotten better since then, and it's a bit of a different genre. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9PShEJ-abM

Well, this post is long, but to sum it up, the Spotlight Song of the Week is Unsaid, Undone by Formulas....or Delta Delta!.....
