Undergroundmusicblog announcements

Hello. If you are reading this, I am no longer blogging on this blog. But, there are almost 250 posts, so feel free to look through them. Even though it won't be new music, it'll still be good music.
So . . . bye.

*This is 12/23/13. I changed the polls slightly so that you can vote until 1/1/24. That's almost ten years from now. I at least wanted any people who happened to be visiting to be able to vote. I didn't extend it any longer because this blog will either get deleted or aliens will cause mass chaos by deleting the internet or murdering that huge satellite in space.
Thought you might want to know that my friend has a blog, and we are very alike. http://www.electricperspectivemusic.blogspot.com/
Yeah.
Oh well. Yeah. This blog is kind of . . . dead.
I guess this is goodbye. Again. Because it's a second goodbye, it's awkwarder, so there's no way to wrap this up. But I'm not a writer or anything, and this is the internet, so I can cut myself off midsentence and add three little dots afterwards . . .

My Reaction To Three Days Grace

I hear Three Days Grace mentioned a LOT and I feel ashamed about not listening to them.
So, I shall give them a listen and who knows, maybe somebody is in the same boat as me.
Let's begin.
This is Last to Know http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URblbwlpnLc
Slow beginning. Oh, this guy's a good singer. Guitar is kicking in a little bit. Still slow....
Guitar is back. Things are getting a little louder. Electric guitar. Drums. Okay. This is alright.
The next song is Get Out Alive http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miFhwa1_few
Electric guitar...okay...I have a feeling this will be an awesome song. Bass and drums...
This is a really good band. I'm actually kind of surprised, because most of the time I listen to underground bands that aren't really the best, but still kind of awesome. But this is...I don't know...traditionally awesome. I guess. I like the song.
The next song is Over and Over http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=okC4hw8IPYg
Most of the songs have the same format, from what I can tell. Slow, soft beginning with electric guitar or piano. Then the instruments kick in before the chorus. Oh. I like this song.
Now onto the music videos.
The first is Never Too Late http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lL2ZwXj1tXM
Oh. I've heard this on the radio. I like this song. The beginning of the video where they're dancing around is cheesy, but I suppose it gets the point of the video across.
Alright. That was amazing.
The next video is I Hate Everything About You http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8ekz_CSBVg
I've heard this briefly on the radio as well. I really like it. For some reason, when the bass starts in, it just sounds perfect. I wish I started listening to this band sooner. It makes almost every other band I've ever listened to sound stupid.
Except for Nine Lashes. I'm still obsessing over them.
Okay. I'm kind of scared to do this, but I'm going to listen to some of their newer-ish material.
This is Misery Loves my Company http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkSASi_eN_k
Wow. I. Love. This. Song.
I don't want to sound weird or cheesy, but I feel like I can relate to this song.
"I don't need your condescending words about me looking lonely." Perfect line.

So that was a really, really, really good decision. I have a feeling I am going to develop an unhealthy obsession with this band.
If you haven't listened to Three Days Grace yet, please do. They're a really good band and I was pleasantly surprised. I think you'll like them as well if you enjoyed the other crap I've been feeding you in all of my other posts.
