Undergroundmusicblog announcements
Hello. If you are reading this, I am no longer blogging on this blog. But, there are almost 250 posts, so feel free to look through them. Even though it won't be new music, it'll still be good music. So . . . bye.*This is 12/23/13. I changed the polls slightly so that you can vote until 1/1/24. That's almost ten years from now. I at least wanted any people who happened to be visiting to be able to vote. I didn't extend it any longer because this blog will either get deleted or aliens will cause mass chaos by deleting the internet or murdering that huge satellite in space.Thought you might want to know that my friend has a blog, and we are very alike. http://www.electricperspectivemusic.blogspot.com/Yeah. Oh well. Yeah. This blog is kind of . . . dead. I guess this is goodbye. Again. Because it's a second goodbye, it's awkwarder, so there's no way to wrap this up. But I'm not a writer or anything, and this is the internet, so I can cut myself off midsentence and add three little dots afterwards . . .
For people who like Evanescence
Now, I just had to tell you about this one. You may or may not know, but a while ago, the band members of Evanescence left Amy Lee and formed a new band. (I think Evanescence is back together, though, or maybe they have two bands. You'll have to clear that up for me in the comments.) So they formed this new band and made music that sounded just like Evanescence and got a lead singer that sounded a whole lot like Amy Lee. This band was called We Are the Fallen, after Evanescence's first album, Fallen.
Let's look at similarities:
- Similar lead singer, very powerful, wide vocal range
- Almost the same style of music
- The band members, an obvious one
- One that I'm probably going to get a lot of crap about, but Bury me Alive and Bring to Life sound kind of similar and have a fairly similar meaning. Yeah, yeah, there are differences, you can't compare bands and songs, every song is different, blah, blah, blah
I don't want to go into too much depth, so I'm just generalizing. There are plenty of other similarities.
Here are some Evanescence songs:

Hope you like these bands, or one of the bands. If not...well...I'm sorry...maybe next time...
