Undergroundmusicblog announcements

Hello. If you are reading this, I am no longer blogging on this blog. But, there are almost 250 posts, so feel free to look through them. Even though it won't be new music, it'll still be good music.
So . . . bye.

*This is 12/23/13. I changed the polls slightly so that you can vote until 1/1/24. That's almost ten years from now. I at least wanted any people who happened to be visiting to be able to vote. I didn't extend it any longer because this blog will either get deleted or aliens will cause mass chaos by deleting the internet or murdering that huge satellite in space.
Thought you might want to know that my friend has a blog, and we are very alike. http://www.electricperspectivemusic.blogspot.com/
Yeah.
Oh well. Yeah. This blog is kind of . . . dead.
I guess this is goodbye. Again. Because it's a second goodbye, it's awkwarder, so there's no way to wrap this up. But I'm not a writer or anything, and this is the internet, so I can cut myself off midsentence and add three little dots afterwards . . .

Why people like a certain kind of music

I thought I'd clear this up for in the future when people are saying that my musical taste sucks, and when people who have a similar taste to mine are telling them to Go to Hell, for Heaven's Sake. (get the reference, hehe)
People like music with emotion. Without emotion, it's not music. Everybody has different music tastes because everybody feels different emotions and have different perspectives. If I get 3 people, including myself, to listen to the same song, one of them may not like it. Let's take Can you feel my Heart by Bring me the Horizon for example.
I'll listen to it and love it because I can feel the emotion in the song. The second person might like it because it makes them feel the same way. The third person may not like it because they don't feel the emotion.
For another example, let's take Baby by Justin Bieber. I might listen to it and not like it because it sounds like absolute emotionless garbage and the experience while listening to it reminds me of watching one of my cats puke and the other proceeding to eat the puke, and then puke up the puke. The second person might listen to it and feel the same way. The third person might listen to it and love it because she's a 12 year old girl who has somehow found the smallest bit of emotion in that song.
If we take this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNvFPKujc5w I might like it because it makes you remember every sad thing that has ever happened in your life, and while you listen to it thoughts of dead puppies crawl into your mind and make you violently sob. The second person may feel the same. The third person could also feel the same, because they also feel the emotion put into this song. So, we'll all, in a way, like the song. It may not appear on our iPods, but we'll still like it.

What I'm saying is, nobody's music taste is weird or wrong, it depends on how you interpret the song and how it makes you feel. So, if you don't feel what the rest of the people on this blog are feeling, get the hell out.

Glad I cleared that up for future arguments.
