Undergroundmusicblog announcements

Hello. If you are reading this, I am no longer blogging on this blog. But, there are almost 250 posts, so feel free to look through them. Even though it won't be new music, it'll still be good music.
So . . . bye.

*This is 12/23/13. I changed the polls slightly so that you can vote until 1/1/24. That's almost ten years from now. I at least wanted any people who happened to be visiting to be able to vote. I didn't extend it any longer because this blog will either get deleted or aliens will cause mass chaos by deleting the internet or murdering that huge satellite in space.
Thought you might want to know that my friend has a blog, and we are very alike. http://www.electricperspectivemusic.blogspot.com/
Yeah.
Oh well. Yeah. This blog is kind of . . . dead.
I guess this is goodbye. Again. Because it's a second goodbye, it's awkwarder, so there's no way to wrap this up. But I'm not a writer or anything, and this is the internet, so I can cut myself off midsentence and add three little dots afterwards . . .

Paramore-Daydreaming

Paramore has recently released a video for their song Daydreaming, off of their newest album. As most of you may know, I prefer Paramore's older music. I really like anything off of All We Know is Falling, Riot!, and Brand New Eyes. And I have to say.....
Paramore is dead to me.
Yes, every member of the band is a great and talented musician. They did make some great songs from their latest album. I personally like Part II, Anklebiters, and I've grown to like Now. Daydreaming isn't really on the list of my favorite songs by them, because it feels so weird and different.
Here's the music video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=euxXBvdrzxQ

Long story short, I loved listening to the badass version of Paramore where Hayley would just belt everything out, the Farro brothers were still in the band, and they were all just making amazing music that made you want to head bang.

But now things are a little different. I think it's totally fine that they're changing their style, and a lot of their new songs talk about growing up and changing as a person. That's cool. That's great. But their music has changed in such a way that it almost doesn't even sound like them. I think it's alright if bands change their musical style a little bit through the years. When they first started, they were playing kind of simple songs with power chords and riffs, and through the years they found more ways to make it sound interesting and awesome. But now it almost sounds kind of pop. "Daydreaming. Daydreaming all the time." I admit,  their old songs had a bit of this as well. "That's what you get when you let your heart win. Woah. Woah." But I feel like they used to present it in a way where it was still rock and they presented in a way that their fans apparently really liked.
All I'm saying is, bands change. I do not expect for them to make the same music for ten years and for them to grow up and still act like teenagers. I support growing up, but I don't like the new songs.
What do you think? Argue, I mean, tell me below in the comments :)
