Undergroundmusicblog announcements

Hello. If you are reading this, I am no longer blogging on this blog. But, there are almost 250 posts, so feel free to look through them. Even though it won't be new music, it'll still be good music.
So . . . bye.

*This is 12/23/13. I changed the polls slightly so that you can vote until 1/1/24. That's almost ten years from now. I at least wanted any people who happened to be visiting to be able to vote. I didn't extend it any longer because this blog will either get deleted or aliens will cause mass chaos by deleting the internet or murdering that huge satellite in space.
Thought you might want to know that my friend has a blog, and we are very alike. http://www.electricperspectivemusic.blogspot.com/
Yeah.
Oh well. Yeah. This blog is kind of . . . dead.
I guess this is goodbye. Again. Because it's a second goodbye, it's awkwarder, so there's no way to wrap this up. But I'm not a writer or anything, and this is the internet, so I can cut myself off midsentence and add three little dots afterwards . . .

Debate-Paramore

This will kind of be a new segment. It'll be listed under "segments" so I guess it'll be a segment.
I wanted to make a segment where you get an opinion and you can voice something instead of just clicking on a link and liking or disliking a song.
This is sure to cause arguments in the comments, once people actually comment on the blog.
Today we'll be debating about Paramore. It's whether or not you like the old Paramore, (songs from All We Know is Falling, Riot!, Brand New Eyes with the Farro brothers) or new Paramore (self-titled album without the Farro brothers)

Let's talk about old Paramore first. I personally like old Paramore because they released some of my favorite songs like Ignorance, Decode, Fences, Let the Flames Begin, etc. Also, Zac was a really good drummer in the band, and with the Farro brothers still in the band they released alternative rock music. Also, every one of their albums from All We Know is Falling to Brand New Eyes just improved. Hayley's singing became more powerful, she had more control, maybe a wider range, Taylor, Josh, Zac, and Jeremy all just improved as musicians, and the songs gradually become more complex and expressed deeper thoughts.

Now onto new Paramore. I was so excited when I heard that Paramore was going to release a new album. I just bought a band T-Shirt, I was on youtube and I was ready to listen to Now. I double-checked to make sure I was listening to Paramore. It sounded nothing like them. Without the Farro brothers, the band just kind of fell apart. Yes, before then they released some great songs like Monster and In the Mourning, and Monster is also one of my favorite songs by them, but the new album just disappointed me. Their entire style changed. They did release some great songs on the album. I personally like Anklebiters, the interludes, and Part II. But songs like Ain't it Fun and Still Into You just really don't sound like them. A lot of people like these songs, but when you compare them to songs like Pressure and Brighter, you can barely tell they're the same band. It's true, a band won't stay the same forever. We can't expect them to keep writing simple songs with power chords and simple lyrics. I just don't feel like they exactly changed for the best.

Now it's your decision. Do you like old Paramore or new Paramore? Argue below in the comments. After 10 comments, I'll tell you guys who won.
