Undergroundmusicblog announcements
Hello. If you are reading this, I am no longer blogging on this blog. But, there are almost 250 posts, so feel free to look through them. Even though it won't be new music, it'll still be good music. So . . . bye.*This is 12/23/13. I changed the polls slightly so that you can vote until 1/1/24. That's almost ten years from now. I at least wanted any people who happened to be visiting to be able to vote. I didn't extend it any longer because this blog will either get deleted or aliens will cause mass chaos by deleting the internet or murdering that huge satellite in space.Thought you might want to know that my friend has a blog, and we are very alike. http://www.electricperspectivemusic.blogspot.com/Yeah. Oh well. Yeah. This blog is kind of . . . dead. I guess this is goodbye. Again. Because it's a second goodbye, it's awkwarder, so there's no way to wrap this up. But I'm not a writer or anything, and this is the internet, so I can cut myself off midsentence and add three little dots afterwards . . .
Bands I used to like #3
I almost feel like this segment is taking away the point of the blog. In case you don't know, the point of the blog is to show you some cool, awesome bands and songs. Do you see how this might get in the way of that?
Let's just scroll on my iPod and see which band makes me cringe.
Okay, I don't have to scroll very much and I already found it.
This band is called Away We Go! Yes, there is an exclamation point at the end of the name. I can't afford to have you guys think that I'm being enthusiastic about this band. Now, I am breaking a rule because I never really did like this band. I can say whatever I want about them because they did break up. There are other bands like them that I will soon mention that I never did like at all.
A brief history:
- I find the band by watching this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xz9KS0Beb-I
- I didn't like that song very much. However, judging by the lead singer's hair, I thought they had some promise, so I looked for some more of their songs.
- I listened to this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8imtX1MlzFs
- I also wasn't the biggest fan of that song. But, you know, it was getting there.
- I found another song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8ji75hV4Lk
- I guess I liked that song the most, so I got it on my iPod.
- About 30 minutes later, I kind of regretted my decision.
Now, I never did really like this band. The singer wasn't very powerful, and the song and band itself was kind of pop. (That is at least the genre my iPod classifies it as.)
I hope you can relate to this, because I know that there has got to be one song like this that you once liked and are now ashamed of.
I used to like a band just like this one. 2 years ago I deleted them off of my iPod out of shame, so I don't remember the band name.
